Jeff Rimmer's Story

In the last 6 months Jeff has dropped 13 pounds off the scale. His body has changed significantly as he has dropped an amazing 25.5lbs of fat mass off his body. He has also gained muscle in the process helping to further speed up his metabolism. He gained 12.52 lbs of lean muscle through our training techniques and good healthy eating. I have been training with Paul for the last 4 years, after I had a serious car accident that left me with a brain injury that paralyzed my left side of my body. In the first 3.5 years it was all about rehabbing the left side of my body. In February of this year I told Paul that I really wanted to change my body and get in to better shape. I was tire of being Mr Rolly Polly, and wanted to really lose some weight and more importantly change my body shape. The in the last 6 months of training things have been going really well, Paul has set me up to succeed with an easy to follow diet plan and proper supplementation and recovery plan that has helped change and correct my metabolism. The weight program has changed from a rehabilitation focused program to a full body interval program that is intense and fun but still deals with my injuries. There have been secondary benefits in the last 6 months to my rehabilitation of my left side of my body. My arm and hand have more control, and my leg strength has increased making it easier for me to meet the demands of my job, I am enjoying life more, I have more energy and people are constantly commenting on how good I look. My mindset has changed and I am looking forward to continuing improving my body through rehab and strength training.

I had just retired at 65 and wanted to regain my health. I had constant backache and had been on anti-depressants for a number of years. My doctor recommended exercise as the alternative treatment for depression, and my physiotherapist referred me to Paul Turner at Three Peaks Kinesiology to create an exercise program to strengthen my back. I found Paul to be very supportive, knowledgeable, and careful, he quickly gained my trust. At the beginning he knew how to keep me going even when I became discouraged. Within a short time it felt good to be using my muscles and connect to the strength in my body again. There have been significant improvements in my leg strength and balance, and I have been free of anti-depressants for 6 months. While I sometimes struggle to stay on the program, I continue because of Paul’s constant research and attention to the latest motivating ideas and resourceful approaches. My workouts have become a positive focus in this new chapter in my life.

So I was referred to Three Peaks Kinesiology by my physiotherapist. I had been involved in a major car accident 4 months before. I had whiplash, neck tightness, shoulder soreness, constant headaches, lower back pains, this was a major change as I was usually very active with sports and life. I also have a physically demanding job as a heavy duty mechanic. I had reached a plateau in physiotherapy. I was told by my physiotherapist Chetan that I needed to do an active therapy program with Three Peaks Kinesiology to help me improve my strength and function further. Since I started my headaches are few and far between. My mobility has doubled and my pain has decreased to a point that I do not notice it most of the time. Through the simple but effective condition and Fascial Stretch therapy sessions that Paul put together for me I have seen major improvements in a short time. I have improved my muscular endurance, strength, and my overall health has improved. He also went further giving me simple recipes that are healthy quick and taste great, as my diet sucked before. He also talked about the importance of proper recovery and pain management and gave me tools to help. Overall my experience with Three Peaks Kinesiology and Paul has been phenomenal. I would recommend this program to anyone who is stuck in their rehabilitation and is willing to work hard and see great results.

Within the time I have spent at three peaks kinesiology I feel that my performance has improved a lot. I feel my body is stronger and leaner. Also healthier and more fit. The pace that we moved at was very good and working out was finally fun! I liked how I was challenged. This experience has allowed me to reach my Performance Peak. I look forward to coming back!

I am a 56 year old female who came to Three Peaks in the fall of 2007 with osteo-arthritis in my lower back. I wore orthotics, had pain in my right foot, my left knee didn't want to support me and my back ached constantly. My doctor said that exercise would help, so I went to the phone book and called Three Peaks. I was assessed and told that one leg was shorter than the other and my hips were pointing in different directions, and that exercise and something called "stretch therapy" would help. This journey with Travis has been tremendous - I no longer need orthotics, my knee is normal, I have minimal foot discomfort, my legs are the same length and my hips point in whatever direction they're supposed to! Stretch therapy is excellent! I was never a fan of exercise, but I feel so good now, I look forward to it. When I jump off the table at the end of a session, I feel like I'm 16 again. Highly recommended - especially for people my age who are living with assorted aches and pains, and hobbling around. You will move better and feel better!

I am a 58 year old woman whom decided I definitely needed some help in getting physically fit. As we all know, things do not stay in place when we get older unless we work on them!
I am very proud to say I am a cancer survivor which left me with medical issues which exercising is the only answer in overcoming these. I have been working with Paul now for one month and with his patience, guidance and support I have lost 4% of my body fat and 20 inches. I feel better, have much more energy and know in the next few months I will look much better physically with continuing this program.
