Aishwarya (Ash) completed her Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy from Mumbai, India in 2015. She worked for more than six years before moving to Canada and holds vast experience in musculoskeletal and injury rehabilitation. Growing up as a dancer, her love for movement was not new. She always knew she wanted to study human biology but not have to deal with medications. Witnessing her recovery from an ankle injury solely with physiotherapy and the joy of being able to dance again was a pivoting point in deciding physiotherapy as a career choice.
Her interest in staying active and assisting others in doing the same is what keeps her going. She strongly believes our bodies are meant to move and heal with movement. She focuses on the client’s personal goals and abilities to have an individualized treatment approach for each of them to achieve the best possible outcomes. Her interest in pursuing certification in Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment stemmed from the interest to understand, evaluate, and treat the human spine with specific movements and to empower people to manage their symptoms efficiently.
During her six years of practice, she went on to pursue NSCA’s Certified Strength and Conditioning course with the urge to work on the endurance, power, and agility of athletes based on their sport and position requirements after their injury rehabilitation. Outside of work, she loves weight training, exploring trails, hiking in the woods, and introducing her two-year-old to the beautiful nature around. She is fluent in English and Hindi language.
